Pilates for athletes - works on your core strength and flexibility

Join our Wednesday class from 19:30 - 20:30 at the Dyke Rd Natural Health Clinic, 274 Dyke Rd, BN1 5AE

Pilates for runners works on your core strength and flexibility. The class is held on Wednesday evenings from 19:30 - 20:30. A course is six sessions and you can join in at any time throughout the year.  As your fitness improves, the exercises will get progressively harder.

This class is uniquely designed for runners, cyclists and triathletes. It aims to enhance core stability and strength and focuses on those areas that make runners particularly vulnerable to injury.  In addition we will focus on key areas of tightness in runners, aiming to improve general flexibility and function.  The strength classes have a basis in functional Pilates, with exercises modified specifically for runners.

With over 20 years' experience in assessing and treating the biomechanics of walking, running and sports injuries I can give you valuable insight into how to improve your running techniques. We'll work to improve your core strength and overcome lifestyle factors that affect flexibility and core strength.  You'll get individual feedback on techniques and factors to focus on, to inspire your running performance and/or transition off the bike.

Prepare to improve your performance and get some excellent tips on how your body works. We'll also discuss how to reduce injury so you can run injury free.

6 classes for £60 or £12 a drop in session.

Join in any Wednesday class throughout the year from 19:30 - 20:30. Call 01273 561 844 or email info@bluekoalaphysio.co.uk to book your place. Numbers are limited so please act fast.
