Paul Jones
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
BSc Physiotherapy, PG Cert Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Paul qualified in 2006 from Southampton University and then worked for eight years at Guys and St Thomas’ hospital in London. Whilst there he oversaw and helped manage the lower limb service, including post-operative clinics.
In 2014 Paul left to work in the private sector at Central Health, London. Soon afterwards he moved to the south coast where he worked at Brighton and Sussex University Hospital and at Studio 57 in Hove. As well as working here at Blue Koala Physiotherapy, Paul also currently works at the Horder Healthcare Centre (a not for profit health provider) as a lower limb extended scope practitioner.
Paul has a specialist interest in spinal and lower limb conditions, exercise prescription and strength and conditioning. He enjoys keeping up to date with current research and helping his patients to
understand the underlying causes of their pain and symptoms. His aim is to help you gain confidence in your mobility and empower you to self-manage more effectively.
In between his busy work and family life, Paul enjoys DIY around the house, going to the gym and running. To date he’s completed two full marathons and several half marathons - so he understands both
the pleasures and the pains of running.
