Cathy Wilde
Founder and Principal Physiotherapist
BAppSc (Phty), MSc (Manip Physio)
Cathy set up Blue Koala Physiotherapy in 2014 to have greater scope in treating patients and offers proactive and preventative help and advice.
She trained as a physiotherapist in Sydney, Australia, and now has over 20 years' of experience in the profession. This includes working in private practice in both Australia and the UK, within the NHS in London and East Sussex, at Horder Healthcare in East Sussex - a not for profit centre of excellence - and currently at Dorset MSK services.
Cathy has advanced diagnostic and treatment skills, having worked in Advanced Practice clinics in the NHS since 2006. She is also trained in acupuncture and Pilates with an emphasis on rehabilitation.
Cathy enjoys teaching other physiotherapists and passing on her knowledge for the good of the profession. For eight years she was a regular visiting lecturer at London South Bank University. She also currently acts as an expert witness for Richmond Physiotherapy Associates, providing physio advice in clinical negligence cases.
Activities
In her spare time, Cathy enjoys training for triathlons, cycling, swimming, yoga and country walks. She is a Level 2 British Triathlon Coach.

Why Blue Koala?
Cathy is an Australian with an English mother and has lived in the UK for over 15 years. She also spent her early childhood here. She's a true Blue with a British (and Aussie) passport and proud of her Australian heritage. Hence the Koala, decked out in blue.

Carol Attwood
Receptionist
Carol originally trained as an illustrator & designer and is from a creative background. This makes her an excellent problem solver - prefect for answering queries and sorting out insurance. After seeking treatment for chronic back pain she became increasingly interested in how osteopathy, acupuncture, physiotherapy and lifestyle changes could improve her health and well being. Carol has now worked as a senior receptionist in multi disciplinary health clinics for over 10 years. Married with grown up children, Carol’s free time is taken up with gardening, fitness yoga and drawing.
